ERP
The ERP page lists the problems in your ERP’s records that are worth fixing, biggest money first. It reads the files you send Narada. A check that finds nothing stays folded away, so the page only shows real problems.
Where to find it: ERP in the top-right links.
| On the page | What it means | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| 🔴 A problem row | Your ERP holds something wrong, such as an order long past its due date | Fix it in your ERP |
| 🟢 “Checks found nothing” | Narada looked and found no problem in the files you send | Nothing |
| 🟡 “Already handled by Narada” | Your ERP’s number is off, but Narada already plans on the real one | Nothing, unless you still buy from your ERP’s own suggestions |
When should I open this page?
Section titled “When should I open this page?”Monthly, or before a review with your team. Your buyer checks the late orders. The owner checks the stock that is not selling.
What am I looking at?
Section titled “What am I looking at?”The money at the top
Section titled “The money at the top”Each box is one kind of money:
- Still on order past its due date: the value of goods your suppliers still owe you on order lines whose due date has passed, as of the last day of the files you sent.
- Tied up in stock: what you paid for stock you are unlikely to sell. The box names what it holds. Dead or unpriced stock is stock that has not sold in 18 months or more. Parts with no cost on file are listed too, but they cannot add to the dollar figure. Discontinued stock still on hand is parts your ERP marks as discontinued that still have units on the shelf.
The boxes are never added together. Money on order and money sitting on a shelf are different things. A box only appears when it has money in it.
The list of problems
Section titled “The list of problems”Each row is one problem. It shows what is wrong, how big it is, and what fixing it changes. Rows with money come first, largest first. Rows that are a count come after.
Press See all on a row to open every item behind it. Each item has How this was worked out, with the figure, how Narada got it, and Check it: where to look in your ERP.

Each item says what is wrong and where to check it in your ERP.
The problems Narada looks for:
- Purchase orders past their due date: every order line whose due date has passed with goods still owed. The sentence splits off lines a week late or less, because those may simply not be booked in yet, and lists the older lines first. Ask the assistant and it counts to today, so it can show a few more than the page.
- Dead & unpriced stock: parts with no sale in 18 months that still hold stock (money tied up), and parts with no stock and no sale (set them inactive). A part still on an open purchase order is never called dead.
- Inventory record integrity: stock records that cannot be right, such as negative stock.
- Sales data integrity: sales lines far from a part’s usual quantity or price. A large order can be real, so check before you change anything.
- Master data gaps: product or supplier records missing a value, such as a minimum order quantity or a supplier’s lead time.
- Cost integrity: a cost about a pack size away from what you pay (a box priced as one unit), parts sold below cost, and one part bought at very different prices.
- Likely duplicate parts: one part entered under two item codes, which splits its sales and stock.
Checks that found nothing
Section titled “Checks that found nothing”Folded under “N checks found nothing in the files we receive”. Open it to see each check and what it looked at. “Nothing found” means nothing in the files you send. If a file leaves a field out, Narada cannot check it.
Already handled by Narada: supplier lead times
Section titled “Already handled by Narada: supplier lead times”Your ERP holds a lead time for each supplier: how many days an order takes to arrive. Narada measures the real number from your deliveries. The table shows each supplier’s ERP figure next to the real one, and how many deliveries it is measured over.
Narada already orders on the real figure. The gap only costs you if you still buy from your ERP’s own suggestions. If you do, press Download reorder points for your ERP and load the file into your ERP, so its suggestions match.
About your files
Section titled “About your files”A line starting “About your files, not your ERP” points at something missing from the files you send, such as parts with no purchase orders. If those orders exist, add them to your export.
Moved off this page
Section titled “Moved off this page”- Estimates from your ERP’s own settings: stale minimum and maximum settings, and hard-to-forecast items. They open on their own view, because they only matter while your ERP suggests what to order. Narada sizes its orders on current demand.
- Customers over their credit limit are on Collections.
How do I find the fixes that matter most?
Section titled “How do I find the fixes that matter most?”- Start at the top row. Rows with money come first.
- On Purchase orders past their due date, call the supplier or close the line. Until you do, Narada stops counting late stock as coming, so it may suggest buying again.
- On Dead & unpriced stock, return or clear the parts holding stock, and set the empty ones inactive.
- Read Sales data integrity rows as “check this line in your ERP”.
How do I share the list?
Section titled “How do I share the list?”Press Download the fix list. It downloads a spreadsheet (CSV) with every flagged item, not only the rows on screen. Send it to whoever keeps your product records.
Press Print / Save PDF to print the page, or save it for your monthly review.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”Why is there no total at the top? The boxes are different kinds of money. Adding goods on order to stock on a shelf gives a number that means nothing.
Why are orders 1 to 7 days late not counted? A few days late is usually normal delivery delay. The row still says how many there are.
Why are there fewer rows than items flagged? Long checks show 15 items on screen. The download has every item.
Should I change the sales line the row points at? No. Open it in your ERP and check it. A large order can be real.
What this page does not do
Section titled “What this page does not do”- It does not change anything in your ERP. You make each fix there.
- It does not read your ERP’s minimum and maximum settings, so it never claims what they are.
- It cannot see kits or bills of materials, so a part used only inside a kit can still show as dead.
- Data: load the files this page checks.
- What to Order: Narada’s own buy list.
- Diagnostic: check whether Narada can be trusted on your data.
