What Narada doesn't do yet

Better to know now than to find out later. Some of these are choices we made on purpose. Others are not built yet. Each says which.

Narada does not Why What to do instead
Write to your ERP By design You place orders in your ERP, from Narada’s drafts
Send anything to suppliers or customers By design You send from your ERP or your own email
Order on its own By design A person approves every order
Let you override a forecast Not built yet Change the order quantity
Know about promotions or big one-off orders Not built yet Adjust the order yourself before you approve it
Set a target for a single part By design Targets come from the part’s class and its own money
Link a replaced part number to the old one Not built yet Mark the old part discontinued
Handle kits, assemblies or bills of materials Not built yet Narada sees each part on its own
Track serial or lot numbers Not built yet Batch dates are used only for expiry checks
Convert between currencies Not built yet Send every price and cost in one currency
Read your min and max fields from your ERP Not built yet Narada works out its own reorder points from your data
Pre-buy before a supplier’s price rise Not built yet Add the extra to the order yourself
Know when a supplier is rationing a part Not built yet Adjust the order yourself
Plan stock for a quoted job that is not an order yet Not built yet Add it to the order yourself once you know
Build stock ahead of a season on a date you choose Partly The forecast learns yearly patterns, and Months your sales peak hints at them. Add a planned build yourself

Narada reads, you decide. It never changes your ERP, never sends an email or an order, and never buys on its own. Every action is a draft that a person checks. That is the point: you keep control of every dollar.

No per-part targets. Each part’s target comes from its class floor and its own money. A per-part number would drift as the business changes. If one slow part keeps a big customer coming back, tell us.

Forecast overrides. You cannot pin a forecast to a number yet. Change the quantity on the order instead. See When you disagree with Narada.

Promotions and events. Narada sees a promotion only once it shows in your sales. Plan the extra yourself.

Replaced part numbers. A new part number starts with no history. See Special orders, new and discontinued parts.

Kits and assemblies. Narada plans each part on its own. It does not break a kit into its parts.

Currencies. Narada shows one currency label on every figure. It does not convert. Send all prices and costs in one currency.

Your ERP’s min and max. Narada works out what your data supports. The ERP page checks the lead times your ERP plans with. It does not read your min and max fields yet.
