Get Focus 8 / 9 (Focus Softnet) into Narada.
We haven't been able to verify that Focus can schedule an emailed export. Ask your partner — and start with the routine today either way.
A 2-minute export when you want fresh numbers
Move in — once
Your whole history in one drop. Zip your ERP's export folder and drop it on your Data page — a zip is 5–10× smaller, and too big to email, which is exactly why it goes there, not to an inbox. Send as much as you have — ideally 2+ years, so the forecasts have a couple of seasonal cycles to learn from. A single file up to 2 GB works too (we split it for you); larger, split it or just zip the folder.
Keep it fed — set once
Then the small daily updates, following the steps below. This ERP can't schedule exports, so it's a two-minute routine — honest about that.
The exact steps
-
1
Ask your Focus partner: can our version schedule a report to be emailed automatically? If yes, point it at your addresses and you're set.
-
2
If it can't — or while you wait for an answer — the routine takes two minutes:
-
3
Each morning, export yesterday's sales and today's stock snapshot from your ERP. Those are the only two that move daily.
-
4
Drag the files onto your Data page — or just email them (from your phone if you like) to your sales and inventory addresses. Send from an address registered on your Narada account; we only accept drops from people we know.
-
5
That's it. Narada validates overnight. If a file has a problem we fix it on our side — you'll never be asked to re-send.
-
6
Mondays, refresh products, customers and receivables too — or zip your ERP's whole export folder and drop it once. Narada sorts out what's inside.
For whoever runs IT: If your Focus build can schedule an emailed export, tell us — we'll write the recipe into this guide for the next client.
