Setup · Dynamics 365 Business Central

Get Dynamics 365 Business Central into Narada.

BC's job queue drops reports in its own inbox, not your email — so use a small Power Automate flow (or BC 28+ native scheduled email).

One short setup, then hands-off

1

Move in — once

Your whole history in one drop. Zip your ERP's export folder and drop it on your Data page — a zip is 5–10× smaller, and too big to email, which is exactly why it goes there, not to an inbox. Send as much as you have — ideally 2+ years, so the forecasts have a couple of seasonal cycles to learn from. A single file up to 2 GB works too (we split it for you); larger, split it or just zip the folder.

2

Keep it fed — set once

Then the small daily updates, following the steps below. Set it once in Dynamics 365 Business Central and never come back.

The exact steps

  1. 1

In Power Automate, create a scheduled flow: recurrence → daily.

  2. 2

Add the Business Central action that runs your report and returns it as Excel.

  3. 3

Send it as an email attachment to sales → your sales address, stock → your inventory address, customers → your customers address.

  4. 4

Save the flow. One flow per data type, or one flow with several attachments.

For whoever runs IT: On BC 28 (2026 wave 1) or later, Financial Reports can be scheduled to email directly — use that instead of a flow where it covers the report you need.

Your real addresses are waiting in the app.

Open your Data page — it shows the exact addresses for your account, and can email these steps to your IT person in one click.
